Versatile, Safe, and Easy to Use:
Because of the portable size, durable construction, and many benefits of paraffin, the Therabath can be used for a variety of purposes, including physical therapy treatment, therapeutic massage, arthritis pain relief, manicures and pedicures, skin-conditioning at spas, in manufacturing or office settings where employees have work-weary or often-washed hands, and much more.
Procedure:
- First, slowly dip the hand, foot, elbow (etc.) in and out of the bath several times, creating layers of warm, soothing paraffin. To increase the skin moisturizing effects, apply a light coat of Therabath Hand & Body Lotion prior to dipping in the paraffin. To increase the pain relief benefit, dip up to 15 times (the more layers of paraffin applied, the longer the heat will last).
- Cover the dipped hand or foot with a plastic liner and a comforting, insulated mitt or bootie, which prolongs the warmth for maximum benefit. For elbows or other areas, use plastic wrap and a soft towel to cover the area.
- After about fifteen minutes, discard the paraffin.
